The new Centre for European Politics Research Centre at Queen Mary, University of London is based in the School of Politics and International Relations, but draws together research and expertise from across the College.
The CEPR has been established to combine conventional scholarly activities (research seminars, lectures, visiting speakers etc.), with the development of a dynamic interface between the academic community and policy officials, NGOs, practitioners and business leaders.
The CEPR currently hosts two highly successful and prestigious publications: the Taylor and Francis journal East European Politics (formerly Journal of Communist Studies and Transition Politics) is edited by Prof. Adam Fagan, and the European Journal for Political Research Political Data Yearbook (PDY) is co- edited by Dr Rainbow Murray.
We welcome applications from graduate students and post-doctoral candidates who wish to study and research aspects of European politics and policy. We are also delighted to receive applications from external junior and senior scholars who wish to become visiting fellows of the CEPR. In addition, applications from non-academic professionals engaged in aspects of European politics and policy who wish to spend time in a scholarly environment are also welcomed.
